The University of Southampton is part of the Russell Group of leading UK Universities. Membership of the OPF demonstrates a continued commitment to the importance of digital preservation to the work of the University; through software development, research activity and the adoption of the best technology. The aim is to improve university wide provision and through collaboration contribute to the development and enhancement of shared tools and services. The University of Southampton has representation on the Technical and Architecture Advisory Board making a link to key areas of interest and expertise such as integrated repository workflows, linked data and semantic services.
